Aerocube 8 C&D, two Cubesats equipped with electrospray propulsion systems from MIT SPL, have been launched successfully today. Liftoff occurred Nov 11, 1:30:33 pm EST from Vandenberg AFB on an Atlas V rocket carrying Worldview-4 as primary payload. The two Cubesats, part of the secondary payload mission called Enterprise, were successfully deployed from the launch vehicle approximately 2 hours into the flight in a sun synchronous low earth orbit.
