MIT SPL Inspires Future Aerospace Engineers with Virtual Tour

February 15, 2018

Ph.D. student, Catherine Miller, hosted the 3rd grade class of the Episcopal Collegiate School in Little Rock, Arkansas for a virtual tour of MIT's Aeronautics and Astronautics Space Propulsion Lab. Catherine taught the students about designing, building, and testing tiny fuel efficient rockets that will take satellites into the asteroid belt. The virtual tour made the ECS's Lower School Newsletter and word quickly spread through the school. Students can't wait to start their space exploration careers and now have hopes of building their own CubeSat through a school project!
